Well, today is my absolute last day in the Air Force! It's all over now.
  • Check out two new panorama shots that I took this past weekend on a very brief trip to visit Mike and Chinhwa in San Diego. The weather was fantastic--I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE! :)
  • Also added a few CloseUP shots with the new camera. Soon, I'll be updating this whole site with a new look and feel. The photos will be a bit more organized, but for the mean time, wanted to get them up for viewing.

    And yes, I'm very much aware that the pier panorama's stitching isn't the greatest due to the different waves that were present during each photo, but you get the point, it's still cool! :)

OK, got myself a new digital camera (Nikon Coolpix900) so expect this site to revolve around that for a while!!! :)
  • I'll be posting my review of this baby soon, in the meantime, check out my first panorama attempt below. Click on the thumbnail to see the full image. The pic weighs in at 322kb and has been enhanced and squashed from the original pictures.

For those that care, Corel Corp. has released a maintenance patch for its v8 graphics package!!!
  • All of the menu links are active now. The pages themselves are still fairly scarce, but growing daily.
  • Go here to get the patch for the CorelDraw 8 package. Be forewarned, this file weighs in at nearly 20MB!!!
  • FYI for anyone trying to install this patch and having difficulty. It appears that some people are having problems engaging the patch engine. Installation appears to begin and then stops after the decompression of the patch file has finished. In order to complete the patch installation if this happens to you, use explorer to navigate to the "windows\temp" directory and run "DR8RevB.exe". The installation should proceed normally at this point. If you have further questions about CorelDraw or any of it's supporting programs, check the product newsgroups located on Corel's homepage.
